Aquarium/fish/pond keeping is a popular hobby
in countries the world over.
While these shops often are unparalleled
in offering the best for aquarists,
turtles are often offered without much knowledge
or attention to their needs.
Many aquarium stalls in Hong Kong and Kowloon carry turtles.
Turtles live in conditions like these the world over awaiting purchase.
Most of them will unfortunately die.
NOTE: please don't support the salt-water
tropical fish
industry, unless the fish have been bred
in captivity.
If in doubt, ASK!!
Cyanide
is placed in the ocean to stun the fish, thereby
making them easier to catch. :-(
Cyanide...poisons our oceans, and our beautiful sea creatures.
